NAC classes have something fun and effective for everyone!
The NAC offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels of fitness 7 days a week! We offer these classes in our 2 fitness studios.  From Zumba to spin, to yoga and boot camp; there is a class that meets your fitness needs!  Come in and sit in on a class or give one a try today. Check our class descriptions and full schedule below.
Class Schedule
  1. ELITE FIT
    ELITE FIT
    Elite Fit is an hour long class that includes high intensity workouts. These workouts are designed for people who want to achieve the highest level of fitness! This class is recommended for members who are advanced and want a challenge. This class is $8 for non-members and $3 for members.
  2. CIRCUIT TRAINING
    CIRCUIT TRAINING
    30-minutes of fast-paced movement! Each class starts with a 10 minute warm up and moves into 4 rounds of high-intensity circuit! Recommended for members looking to improve balance, stamina and coordination. Try this class that will increase your metabolism and get your blood pumping!
  3. SPIN
    SPIN
    This 45-minute cardiovascular class focuses on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. The difficulty of this workout is controlled through resistance and speed; but is kept fun with upbeat music. Water bottle and padded shorts are recommended.
  4. EZ YOGA
    EZ YOGA
    With an emphasis on breathing, relaxation and very gentle stretching, EZ Yoga is perfect for beginners and those with physical limitations. This class' focus is on balance poses and light movement. This class is also recommended for those with stress or dealing with anxiety.

    All levels are welcome to this class. This class also seeks to create awareness of your physical body through conscious breathing and stretching. The other focus of this class is on core and flexibility.
  6. CORE YOGA
    CORE YOGA
    This class focuses on lengthening and strengthening the muscles that support the stabilize your spine, improving balance and overall flexibility. Recommended for experienced athletes. beginners and everyone in between, this class is a great way to start your week calm, motivated and present.

  8. COLLEGE FIT
    COLLEGE FIT
    College Fit is a class specifically tailored to the fitness goals of young adults. This class is 45-60 minutes that will include a variety of strength and functional training workouts.
  9. STEP AEROBICS
    STEP AEROBICS
    Step aerobics is a choreographed routines of intervals of stepping up and down. With it's terrific cross-training activity the class is great for runners, cyclists and walkers. This 1-hour of total body conditioning is a challenge every time!

    ADVANCED KARATE
    The advanced class is geared towards brown and black belts who want to challenge their timing, coordination, strength, focus, endurance and technical ability. This class will further develop each participant's understanding of the art while also emphasizing conditioning and self-defense.
  2. KIDS KARATE
    KIDS KARATE
    This class is for ages 5 and up and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will benefit from karate's focus on building character; developing concentration and listening skills, learning respect for others and improving self-esteem.

    Karate provides a fun and challenging exercise routine and offers a great alternative to traditional gym workouts. This class builds strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination. Whether you want to become a competitive athlete, learn self-defense techniques or become simply more fit, this class will help you achieve your goal.

    GUTBUSTER
    A strong core leads to a strong body, better posture, and better self-awareness! Work your way through various strengthening exercises for the abs to help midsection stability and strength!
  5. GLUTE CAMP
    GLUTE CAMP
    This class focuses on those hard to sculpt areas from the waist down! It will leave you feeling the burn and give you the legs you’ve always wanted! It’s the perfect addition to any workout routine.
  6. BOXING
    BOXING
    Our boxing class is great for all experience levels. Our instructor Tommy was a Michigan Gold Gloves 4 time state champion. He will coach you through workouts that will teach proper mechanics while improving stamina and strength.
  7. PICKLEBALL DRILL
    PICKLEBALL DRILL
    Pickleball is relatively new at the Northwest Athletic Club. This class allows you to learn the basics and play with other beginners. It will help get you ready to play outside in the class with other pickleball players!
  8. ZUMBA TONING
    ZUMBA TONING
    The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged! Toning Sticks enhance sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body.
